Don’t Wait To Be Challenged

Eleanor Roosevelt once said “your ability needs responsibility to expose its possibilities. Do what you can with what you have at where you are”.
There are days in our lives were we encountered certain situation that made us do things that we taught we couldn’t do. I remembered what happened to me after watching a football match in KNUST. I decided to escort a good friend back to his hostel. On our way, we were attacked by two men who were holding knives. Fear gripped me when I realized my friend had run with his laptop in his bag. I decided to run  but another man showed up and held me.

I was able to give him a hard knock on his face with my elbow and I escaped narrowly. Suddenly I stopped and thanked God. But within I asked myself “how did I do that?” The truth was that there was a lot of more potential in me than I realized was there.

These same is true for you. You aren’t doing more because no one has challenged you. I want you take the realm of waiting for people to challenge you and encourage you to challenge yourself. Make a demand on yourself. Say to yourself, “look, I am going to be become the best in this area no matter what people have done before me. Then go after that. You will surely win.
