All Things Are Difficult Before They Become Easy

I love the story of the salesman who looked out the window of the hotel restaurant at a blinding snowstorm. He asked his waiter, “Do you think the roads will be clear enough in the morning to travel?” The waiter replied, “Depends on if you’re on salary or commission.” Having a strong why will help you to keep going when the discipline of learning becomes difficult, discouraging, or tedious.

I know most of you are caught in this similar situation. The truth is that the beginning of everything is difficult. But you have to enjoy the process. Usually you lack the drive to push or pursue your goals or purpose. I am here today to tell you that your source of passion and determination should be based on your purpose for anything. The purpose would give you more insight as to why you should do what you love regardless the situation at hand.

I believe you have a dream in your heart to achieve. It is time to look at the bigger picture and start working towards it. Just like the salesman, don’t focus on how the path may seem challenging. Just draw your plan, calculate your options and do your best. God himself will help you if only you don’t give up.

I believe in you!!
